Translate ambiguity
I like problems where the technical, product, and organizational edges are still fuzzy. The work is to make them legible enough for a team to move.
About
I am Shashwat Jain, a senior engineer and technology leader focused on AI agents, enterprise platforms, and the operating discipline required to turn promising technology into dependable software.
My work sits at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and leadership. I enjoy building systems where the hard part is not only the code, but also the boundaries: what the system is allowed to know, what it can do, how quality is measured, and how the team stays accountable as the product evolves.
AI has made that work more interesting. A good agent is not just a model with tools. It is a workflow with permissions, context, evals, error handling, and human trust designed into it from the beginning.

How I lead
I like problems where the technical, product, and organizational edges are still fuzzy. The work is to make them legible enough for a team to move.
Production AI needs observability, rollback paths, permissions, and clear ownership. The best systems are designed for the people who run them.
Architecture decisions are leadership decisions. I care about the tradeoffs, incentives, and failure modes behind the implementation.

I also run fixcoffee.in, a home coffee store. It keeps me close to customer experience, operations, commerce systems, and the very real constraints that make software useful beyond the screen.
